Satellite Shopland The sputnik-like orb was removed in 1998 and was purchased by Daniel Sullivan of Pasadena, who builds and restores signs. He has restored it to its original look, with silver spikes. |

Anaheim Convention Center This flying saucer-shaped building looks like the big brother of Disney's old Rocket to the Moon ride or the little brother of the L.A.X. Theme Building. In any case, it's a classic Orange County icon. |

Golden Forest Inn Just across the street from Disneyland, this motel
boasted the mother of all boomerangs. To top it off (literally) the six orbs along the crest
were decorated with yellow stars on a blue background. |

Eden Rock More boomerang shapes than you can shake a ray-gun at! And what are those giant, blue, bug-zapper things supporting the roof? |

West Coast Inn The dome in front of the lobby echoes the nearby Anaheim Convention Center. |

Satellite Mobile Home Park This gantry-like entrance arch once had a sputnik on top of it, much like the sign at the neighboring Satellite Shopland. (See above) |
